英文/入籍班事工 ESL Ministry is looking for 2 bilingual (Chinese/English) teachers to serve 2 Sundays every month (2:30p-4:00). If you have the burden to serve new immigrants and a heart to bring them to the Lord, contact Anne Wong.
BIG SUNDAY on May 1-3: This is a citywide, non-religious volunteer program that recruits LA residents to give of their time and energy to do misc. service projects for non-profit and/or care-giving organizations in their local communities. Our church generally sponsors projects that target our local Chinatown community. Past projects have helped Castelar and Griffin elementary schools, Alpine Park/Playground, local senior housing residences, and the Chinatown Service Center among others. This year’s projects are yet to be determined but should be determined sometime in April.
社區同樂日 COMMUNITY FAIR on JUNE 6: FCBCLA puts on a bi-annual community fair for local residents with food and game booths along with various activities where the gospel is presented and the local community is introduced to our church. This year the fair will be on Sat, Jun 6. There are always many ways to participate and help out in this major event. Watch for announcements and volunteer sign-ups as we get closer to the event.
