First, I was amazed at the attendance, especially on Saturday.  Usually when these things are offered, the attendance is scant.  So, the H.S. is stirring in the hearts of our people.  The content was really good, and Dr. Henderson was very engaging.  I appreciate his honesty about the way we pray, and I liked that he debunked the traditions of prayer.  He made good points and offered simple tips.  We only need to see our Lord Jesus’ model of prayer instead of remembering ACTS and other methods meant to teach us to pray.  On Saturday, I left with the impression that I’ve been praying all wrong.  I’ve been striving to change my prayer habit since reading Transforming Prayer many months ago, but am inspired to continue pressing on since this weekend.
